GLOSSYBOX MARCH 2016

1:40 PM

Glossybox is definitely one of my favourite monthly suscription boxes out there. The value of the box always makes it worth the money you actually spend on it and you always receive something you will absolutely love in your box. I don't think I ever received a box that I absolutely hated. It's such a beautiful box that you just can't wait to open and get your hands on everything inside. You can reuse the box after wards as storage for your make-up or hair products (this is what I do with my boxes).

This months box is definitely my favourite so far. The perfect pretty brush, face products and hair care products. I absolutely most of the products and can't wait to get my hands on the full-size versions.

LUXIE Rose Gold Large Angled Face Brush | full-size price £10.42

Glossybox says: This angled brush is specially cut to hug the curves and contours of your face, making it perfect for all your contouring, highlighting and strobing needs! Simply pat it into your chosen product and sweep along your cheekbones, down your nose and along the jawline for a beautifully sculpted face.
What I think?: it's an awesome brush! Definitely happy with it its a nice addition to my collection. Its perfect for contour!

Would I purchase this?: I would definitely get another brush from this brand!

SO SUSAN Light Diffuser | full-size price £14

Glossybox says: This is all you need to instantly highlight and define your best features. To create a luminous sculpted glow, simply sweep the deeper shade into the hollows of your cheeks, under your jawline and down the sides of your nose using your Luxie Brush - then apply a dash of the highlighter shade to the bridge of your nose and the tops of your cheek bones.

What I think?: I love the smell of this, the bronzer side smells like cocoa. I like the colour of it, think it would be great as a contour shade. This looks great on your face however it has a little bit of glitter so if you're not into that I would stay away from this, I weirdly like it in this product because it is not too obvious you can only see it when the light hits it.
I don't like the highlighter shade at all, it is gold and looks like it has a lot of glitter in it when swatched on my hand so I actually don't even want to try and apply it to my face because it doesn't look like it will look very flattering which is a shame because I actually hoped it would be a good highlighter.
The packaging of this product looks very cheap, I like the box it comes in but the actual packaging.

Would I purchase this?: I wouldn't purchase this if it wasn't in the box, I don't think that it is a good product and the highlighter definitely ruins it. If it was just the bronzer then I think I would consider maybe buying this depending how I get on with it after trying it a few more times.

417 Catharsis Vitamin Mineral Shampoo and Conditioner | full-size price £16.89 each

Glossybox says: The combination of Dead Sea moisture balancing minerals, energising vitamins and essantial oils in this duo ensure your hair is left super gleaming, hydrated and lustrous. Apply the shampoo to wet hair and rinse, then apply the conditioner and leave on for 5 minutes.

What I think?: I'm not going to lie, this was nothing special, i think i expected a lot more from this product.

Would I purchase this?: I probably wouldn't repurchase it mainly because of the price. I don't pay more than £5/£6 for a shampoo I do splurge on a conditioner but I don't think this is the one I would want to splurge on mainly because I don't think it works better than other conditioners and because I don't really like the smell of it. I love conditioners that are have a very strong fruity or flowery smell so this smelling like dead sea minerals doesn't really work for me. I'm sure someone who is into that type of scent would love it though.

OLAY REGENERIST Luminous Skin Tone Perfecting Cream | full-size price £29.99

Glossybox says: Working to fade the look of discolouration and dark spots, this clever cram goes above and beyond evening out your skin tone. How? It hydrates, exfoliates and smoothes the skin to leave you with a healthy, glowing complexion. Suitable for all skin types, you can apply it to cleansed skin both morning and evening.

What I think?: I have only used it twice so I can't really tell whether it works or not but I like the idea of it and I do hope it does everything it says. It works great as a cream but I will update you on the results after I try it on for at least two weeks.

Would I purchase this?: If it works and does everything it says it does then I will definitely purchase this, I have a red face and nothing seems to work so hopefully this will help.

HEY HONEY Good Morning Honey Silk Facial Serum | full-size price £28.81

Glossybox says: Infused with honey and propolis (two of nature's most potent antiseptic and antibacterial ingredients made by bees), this light and luxurious serum replenishes and protects the skin, leaving you with glowing complexion day after day.

What I think?: Ever since i received this it became my favourite. I use it in both my morning and evening skincare routine and i love the smell of it and how it feels on my face. I actually feel this making a difference to my face!

Would I purchase this?: Despite the price and me being more of a budget kinda girl i think i would actually splurge on this as i absolutely love this!

I do realise that this has been really late this month but I haven't actually got to try out all the products as soon as I got them and felt like I couldn't post it without my honest opinion
